ZOLL’s PocketCPR for iPhone Training App(medical category) Debuts to Over 17,000 Downloads During AHA

ZOLL’s PocketCPR® for iPhone app, which debuted at the ZOLL booth during AHA and was also available from the Apple iTunes App Store(medical apps category), registered more than 17,000 downloads during its first week of availability.

PocketCPR is one of the most important tools to emerge on the iPhone so far in the medical category.  It uses the accelerometer in such a fashion that the potential to train millions in the vital skills of CPR is very exciting.

People from 57 countries downloaded the CPR Training app to their iPhone or iPod Touch during the dates of the conference.  The app provides an easy-to-use CPR training program and a tool to practice life saving
skills. PocketCPR uses Real CPR Help technology identical to the featured in ZOLL
defibrillator and AEDS. The app is available now at an introductory price of only $2.99
for a limited time following the AHA conference.
